Join a High-Performing Finance Team at Aviagen Australia, a world-leading poultry breeding company, as an Accounts Officer. Based in our Goulburn office and reporting to the Financial Controller, this full-time, in-office role offers the opportunity to work with a global business while enjoying a regional lifestyle.

We're seeking a motivated individual to support the financial operations of Aviagen Australia and its subsidiary, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all aspects of accounts payable and cash management.

As part of our valued team, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, processing invoices and reconciliations, managing payments and supplier relationships, and assisting with credit cards and purchase order compliance. You'll also support bank and cash management activities, ensuring daily transactions are processed and reconciled accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing all Accounts Payable invoices
• Accurately record entries into the accounting system
• Work with local Department and Farm managers with systems
• Manage monthly corporate credit cards in Workday
• Prepare and maintain monthly creditor reconciliations
• Support the Finance team with ad-hoc duties

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum Cert III in Accounts Administration
• Experience with accounts payable function
• Demonstrable experience in the use of Microsoft applications including advanced Excel, advanced Word and other Ms office products is essential
• A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels in the organisation
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Experienced adhering to strict time frames whilst having the ability to adapt to quickly shifting priorities

Nice to Have:

• Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Experience in poultry or agribusiness
• Experience using the Workday software program
• Exposure to large corporate environments

What's on Offer:

• Salary $70-80k dependant on experience
