We're looking for a Laundry and Cleaning Attendant to join our Hatchery team! This role includes laundry duties, cleaning the staff kitchen, showers and toilets on a daily basis to keep our hatchery facilities hygienic and looking their best. It also means keeping the clean clothing room neat, tidy and well presented.

To be successful in this role you must be fit and healthy and be able to work on your feet all day; combined with the ability to meet biosecurity standards such as not having any outside contact with any live birds, chickens or pigs and also following shower in/out procedures to shower in and out at the beginning and end of each shift.

The ideal candidate would be available weekdays and also available to commit to working minimal weekends as required. Work clothes and boots will be supplied and laundered on site.

Skills / experience:

• Reliable and hard-working attitude.
• Ability to communicate and work independently and as part of a team.
• Be fit and capable of working on your feet all day, and to pass a medical screening.
• Meet Biosecurity standards (no contact with live birds, chickens or pigs) + follow shower in/out procedures.
• Have reliable transport to work
• Be available to work some weekends as needed, although mainly Monday to Friday.
